We recently had the opportunity to capture the grand opening of the new Lake Country Bike Park for the District of Lake Country — and what a day it was!
From early planning to the final cut, this project was a great example of how we work with municipalities and community partners to tell meaningful stories.
Our aim was to capture the event in a compelling, high-quality way that could serve as a lasting asset for the community, while also keeping budget in mind. We coordinated with City staff to ensure we captured key moments — from the Mayor’s speech to action shots of riders hitting the trails — and interviewed champions behind the project, like Paralympian Josh Dueck and Cam from Contour Trails, to highlight the vision and community impact of the park.
The energy of the day, the passion of the riders, and the pride in what this space means for Lake Country all shine through.
